This applies to you if you are a member of a SVWF google group and you're not receiving the emails, and you have a hotmail email address.
As it's a hotmail account you may be suffering from an overactive junk mail filter - sometimes Hotmail blocks email coming in even to the junk mail folder (AOL can be a bit like this too I think). To remedy this you could try adding the google group email address (details here) to your Safe senders list:
1. From the Hotmail Options screens under Preventing junk email, click Safe and blocked senders.
2. Click Safe Senders.
3. In the text box, type in the email address or domain you’d like to always receive email from, and then click Add to list >>.
